Travel blogs Which I Follow

Uncategorized - Shubham Varshney - January 27, 2018

There are many people who are living happily, earning decent money, making their loved ones proud or enjoying their life amazingly. But there are some people who have a lust to explore one of a gem of this world. You people have been seeing that this blog is on wanderlust, so it should come as no doubt that I love reading travel blogs from there I get some inspiration. The way they share their experience is itself pulls up my mind in that part of the World. As an aficionado, I love to write about them as I love to read about traveling. In the featured image of this post is the Badlands National Park, the place which I eagerly wanted to visit.

In this post, I have written about the travellers who have a more bit passion to scream out from the peaks of any mountains of this gigantic world. They live out in different cities of this World, they experience something that belongs to that place. They drink out some good quality of wines at fabulous wine yards. They are the ones who I follow and interestingly, there are many out in this world who are doing work by going out of this World. These all blogs are on the list of top 50 travel bloggers given by many other popular bloggers.

Top travel blogs who inspired me:-

   Nomadic Matt (Matthew Kepnes)

  • Matthew Kepnes is not only a name, it itself a brand. Matt spent out his 2 years in the job. He was not aware at that time that what is going to be next which changed his life.

  • At a trip to Thailand, he decided to quit his job and he let the inside out his feelings and wanted to be a full-time traveller. And from that time he had visited many countries and wrote various travel guides on different cities.

The Planet D (Dave & Deb)

  • It was clearly in my mind that this blog was the first blog which I read. So from that very moment, I get to know what is love at first site.

  • They both run this blog and says that “8 years ago they were just overwhelmed, overworked and plain exhausted” so they decided to do something crazy. Many magazines like Forbes announced them one of the top influencers of this world.

   Voyager For Life (Renuka)

  • A girl who has passion, lust, and a spark to come out from the fear of not to explore this world. And the icing on the cake, she belongs to my Nation so I knew that that she had done a lot of struggle.

  • To become a solo traveller one needs lots of guts and as a girl, it needs lots of lots. She had faced many difficulties in getting her life’s wheel on the track.

   Lost Boy Memoirs (Ryan Brown)

  • There is a very beautiful line written by Ryan and it is perfect for his blog’s tagline “Not all who are lost needs to be found”. He has written a very beautiful post which is on some amazing travel quotes that blown away my mind.

  • He is a graphic designer in a company and earning a good amount of money from both the platforms but he gives priority to his lust of exploring this whole World.

   The Dangerous Business (Amanda)

  • She belongs to a small city but very beautiful Ohio. She is also a true inspiration to me and she is madly in love with his work and passion.

  • I clearly remember that from her experience I got to know about Badlands National Park of South Dakota in the USA. There are many other places about whom she let me know.

These are a few bloggers from a bunch of many, which influenced me and helped me so that I could get the right path. I know, they all have done a tremendous work to meet out their dreams and even I knew this too that they have given many sacrifices to chase down their dreams. Anyways they all are doing their job with all their enthusiasm. No matter what a job you are doing, there is only one thing if you want to be great in that, you have to do it with all your passion.

Have you ever seen Taj Mahal in mist at the time of Sunrise?

Agra - Shubham Varshney - January 20, 2018

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

As I have written in my last post that “I will share my experience of Taj at Sunrise”, so keeping this in mind, like others here is my effort in glorifying the beauty of Taj Mahal. I am starting this with some questions just to make it more precise. Have you ever seen the boundless beauty of Taj? Have you ever felt the aroma of love which is shrouded at this monument? Have you seen the image of Taj given by the ponds over there in the early morning? Have you ever screamed, “where is the Taj” when fog covered the whole arena?. If yes, then you know very well that here what I am going to share and if no this post is only for you. I have done all the things, I felt the love, I saw the endless beauty and honestly, I just screamed off “where is the Taj”.

On 17th Jan, Wednesday, it was a 6’o clock and literally I was dreaming. Suddenly, my phone rang and it was a call from my brother-in-law, who was residing in the room adjacent to mine. He was the only one due to which I made it to Taj Mahal in the morning (A big thank for him). We both reached Taj at 7’o clock and bought tickets 40 for each as we are Indians. There were queues in order to get an entry from the main gate. I could able to see people who came from different parts of the world and they all were waiting to get an entry. It was clear and suddenly mist started covering the whole area and second by second it got more denser, the excitement crossed all its limits.

At 7:15 AM, we entered from the west gate of Taj Mahal, people could barely see anything because the dense fog was omnipresent. We entered in the arena where many fountains, small gardens and ponds were there, all were covered by mist. People were grinning at each other faces because we all weren’t able to see Taj yet. I asked my brother-in-law “where is the Taj” and he said, “It is having a unique stance and standing in the right front of us, but we cannot see it till the sunrise”. 7:30 was clicking on the watch and sun rises from the Far East, the moment was so mesmerizing that I can spend a couple of days in watching it only. As the sun turns out, the mist started disappearing and we people now could able to see the taj dome first and rest slowly slowly. It’s almost impossible to have that moment without feeling awestruck.

One of my good friends used to utter some beautiful lines and these are “Love is better of as virtual, you should feel it from far, rather not touch it because once you do, and the love has gone”. And the same I was feeling while standing in front of it. I felt handicapped and I don’t want to touch the marble which is used in building this artifact. Even I couldn’t step on the marble floor of it but very soon I am going to revisit this monument so that I can able make a way to appear in the list of those fortunate ones who had experienced the beautiful work done on it. Let’s not have a talk of future because no one knows what will happen.

This wonder of the world has a characteristic which is strong enough to appeal people to fall in love with this monument and people found spellbound to it. The characteristic is, as the daylight change, the marble reflects the same, means in the morning the sun used to be orange so Taj also appears orange. From my point of view that is the best time to experience the Taj Mahal. I was standing at the right front stage and watching the whole show, damn beautiful show in amazement. People were clicking pictures, some were giving their best poses and some were trying to copy the stance of Taj Mahal. Photographers were advising people to stand like this or in that way (like the one I had). I was clearly able to listen to some praiseworthy words which were uttered by every single person who was there with me.

Last but not the least, here is a tip, please don’t take books, diaries or any of the drawing material because all these things are not allowed to take in (because cops not allowed me to take my journal in and it was clearly written over there). Apart from this, we had a great time over there, we clicked many pictures and out of those best ones here are very few. If it is appealing than you could ever wish to explore with a marvelous piece of creation. There are lots of things about Agra which I have to share with you all. Till then stay happy, stay cool and keep the things neat and clean. Are you on board?.

Journey Starts From Agra and Urged Me to Do These Things

My Trip - Shubham Varshney - January 13, 2018

The Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal

To start this post I have to take you all a year back. About a year and a few months ago I had a visit to my sister’s home, Agra. Where my brother-in-law and she lives in a rental apartment. There was somewhere in my mind that this could be a better place for me, either to do a preparation for CAT or for any companies aptitude test. I am very fond of reading books, especially on mythology. As I was an average student, so I could not make it to CAT but some of the MNCs called me, as I passed their expectation level (I am mentioning all the above stuff just because I want that you people should know about me). And by the time, I was smitten with this city of amidst romance. And this city led me closer to my dream.

As we all know that Agra is the home of The Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this city gets thousands of visitors every day. The flocking of tourists on roads can be easily seen on the weekends because Agra is a picture-perfect place for a picnic to the people who live nearby it. This city works as a backbone to Uttar Pradesh’s financial system and an antidote to a wanderer who has a lust of exploring fine art. People from various part of the world can be seen in this city and they all visit this city just to quench their souls. One can do various mind-brewing things in this city, as it has ample amount of monuments and beautiful places. But below are the things which are truly experienced by me.

Top things to do in Agra:

I have taken plenty of hours in deciding what should be shared in this column from innumerable things which can inspire a seeker for having a visit to this city of the crown. And after a great brainstorming, here are the top results. Honestly, this city urged me or plead me to do these things and I would like to do these again and again, whenever I will get the chances.

sunrise view of the taj mahal

  • Watching the teardrop(Taj Mahal) at the Sunrise:-

It is said that this marvelous monument changes its color as the daylight changes and it is really a fact. Although, till now I haven’t visited Taj Mahal at the Sunrise, I assure you that my next post will be on it. I would like to share that moment with you all and I will give you an imaginary tour of it. I am discussing it because this is the thing which I wanted to include it in my “checked” list, from the very right moment when I first heard about it. Unluckily, I couldn’t make it. I am considering a phrase” Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet”.

Mohabbat The Taj Show Agra

  • Live show at Kalakrati Cultural and Convention centre:-

Very near to Taj Mahal’s east gate, there is a convention centre named as Kalakrati. On every evening, a live show is used to perform by the various amazing artist on how and on what conditions, this monument was built. One can book a ticket from various online sites or by direct visiting on official site. Really, this show is worth watching. There is also a fact which is residing in this centre and that is, a replica of Taj Mahal. This convention centre is having one of the finest replicas of this splendid monument.

  • Have a taste of mouth-watering Mughlai Cuisines:-

Agra city had the privilege of being ruled by some great emperors of Mughal dynasty and the history says that Mughals were fond of eating tasty food. This city had many amazing chefs and from them, some inherited this property and serving their best to the foodies. One can easily find a restaurant which can provide best Mughlai dish but I recommend Navratan Korma at Pinch of spice. When this dish will be served with aromatic spices, I bet you, you will not be able to control your sense.

These are mine top things which I have done in this city till now and a lot more left to experience. My future post will be on some mesmerizing views of Taj Mahal and on other various hidden gems of this city. Are you on board?

Confronted 2017 and Giving welcome to 2k18 !

Introduction - Shubham Varshney - January 3, 2018

We all have just stepped in MMXVII (2018), I know it may offend some of you. Writing two zero one eight in roman is like talking to infant and in my greetings that I had sent to my friends and family members, the year was written like this. Some of my friends told me what was that stupidity but for me, I was not. Honestly, when I first looked at Gregorian calendar the first thing that came to my mind is writing 2018 in roman numbers so I did. The whole world is passing their greetings to their loved ones and wishes to make best out of it.

For me, the last year is a very great lesson, some of the very good things I have learned and as I have said it a lessons so some I have forgotten. Things that I have learned are numerous in numbers so I just discuss some of them. The first thing that I am not able to forget in my whole life is holding a Bachelor degree in my hand and it was unforgettable because it had really done a very hard work for it. I was average in studies so by anyhow or by hook or crook I obtain that degree that’s why it was a very hard work for me.

Somewhat in the middle of the past year, I had completed my fourth novel, niche methodology. I love to read about myths and about superstitious powers. In fact, I can call it my favourite time pass. And in the month of May, my great devotional love towards my Lord Shiva lead me to my destiny. I am doing not a great work but it is so-so, I am just loving my work. By the end of the year, I thought about blogging and a keen desire brought me here, in front of you all. My first post, “For a good relation communication is must” draws the good attention of my loving ones.

We are already in 2018 and couple of days just gone as the year 2017, people made many resolutions and a few of many sticks to their resolution(s). Those who stick to their resolutions had a very strong mental power and those who don’t like me find them unimportant or in the funnier way “Abhi to bahut saal aur jeena hai (it’s still a lot of years)”. But this time I have not made a single resolution either I don’t want to change any of my habits that I am having right now, no matter how good or bad they are. In deep in my mind, I think none of a thing will be good or bad, it’s the thinking only which made it good or bad.

Although, I consider myself a reveller and I like to attend parties, listening loud music is my best part of the day. In spite of that, I gave a cool welcome and celebrated this festival (can be called as a festival) with my palpable gods, my mom, and dad. On the eve of the New Year’s I stayed at home and had a dinner with both of them, we watched some shows which were coming on some prime channels. At the very right moment when calendar of my iPhone’s changed, we hugged each other and had a great sleep. That was somewhat great and somewhat not great as I knew that my friends were having a great revel.

I woke up early in the morning and had my first New Year road trip of 20 km to the Ramghat, a village near to my town. In this village is very fortunate one because River Ganga is flowing from it. Sitting on the bank of River Ganga, I rejuvenated myself from all the worries and doubts and in return, I had a clear focus and an image of a sunrise. I am taking this 2018 year as the very auspicious one not only for me but for all of us. This year will take all of us closer to our dreams, I am wishing this for all, that’s the only thing by which I can contribute my part for the Nation.

Wishing you a Very great Happy New Year
